Thank you for sending your book which I have read with great interest.
I was very impressed by your skill in winkling out the various alliances, patent agreements and pricing arrangements. I can't say I understood all the ramifications but enough to realise how relatively simple the lighting business had become by the time I joined in 1977
I liked the potted company histories too - sad that GEC ended up as it did - I also hadn't realised how many Germans had come to England and become naturalised.
You are to be congratulated for putting together so much complicated links with such clarity and also for the technical history.

What a fabulous book! I was really impressed with your book on the death of the light bulb.
I found it a very interesting read and the history fascinating. You must have spent months researching every aspect of the subject. Congratulations.
